APART, BUT STILL TOGETHER
Joining with our community at large, we have had to shut our physical doors. Even though we have lowered the curtain on our Mainstage season - the Playhouse continues its mission to Enrich, Engage, Educate, and Entertain. Stay tuned for more updates about our ongoing commitment to providing quality programming and digital content as we work diligently behind the scenes in preparation for our next act!
From Interim Managing Director Anthony Braxton:
Earlier this year the curtain came down on theater all across the world. We don’t know how long we will have to keep our doors shut here on Main Street Merced. Although the curtain has come down on our 2019-2020 season as we have had to cancel our remaining shows, Preview, and Gala, we are still very much staying connected to our audience and creative community.
Now, we are ready to raise the curtain on our next Act. Our community of performers, producers, directors, and volunteers have taken the past few months to reimagine our creative connection with you, our audience. We will continue our mission to Enrich, Engage, Educate, and Entertain. You’ve made some big changes in how you interact with the world from day to day and we have changed how we engage with you. Curtain Up!
"SATURDAYS @ 7" STARTS AUGUST 22
