Effective August 23, 2021, all Playhouse Merced patrons, regardless of vaccination status, are required to wear masks for all indoor performances and events. Thank you for your cooperation.

-
Our SummerStage! Youth Day Camps were successfully held indoors with no reported health issues.
-
Godspell, our Season 2021-22 opening show, will be performed indoors! This fabulous musical will open Sept. 17 on the Playhouse stage (and NOT outdoors as previously advertised). Audiences will be able to enjoy the indoor comfort of our theater.
AT THIS TIME, we still have some COVID safety measures in place
-
Kids are required to wear masks in educational settings like our SummerStage! program.
-
Because of the collaborative and close nature of creating a show, AT THIS TIME full vaccination is required to audition and be cast in our first 2 shows: Godspell and The Brothers Paranormal. For our cast and crew, we are following the guidelines of the American Guild of Musical Artists and the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society as well as California Department of Industrial relations Division of Occupational Health and Safety (CALOSHA).
-
Nonemployees must wear masks inside our building as will our staff when non-employees are present.
-
We continue to follow the COVID safety guidelines and requirements of the California Department of Industrial relations Division of Occupational Health and Safety (CALOSHA).

We continually assess our COVID safety measures and adjust accordingly. As has so often been the case these past 18 months - things will change and can do so quickly! Inquiries regarding these guidelines and any possible exceptions should be directed to manage@playhousemerced.org.
