Beatriz is a undocumented immigrant on the verge of deportation and the free-spirited Latino mom of her 16 year old daughter, Olivia. Olivia is a highly intelligent teen who is not afraid to speak her mind. After living estranged from each other for years, this mismatched mother and daughter embark on a road trip that crosses state lines. Together they meet a variety of Americans from different cultures, backgrounds, shared dreams, and complicated truths in this powerful musical with fierce humor and leaves us inspired!
